Exciting news! Very Short Film Festival (VSFF) is officially underway!
The VSFF 2024 signature is ‘spark’. Your creative task is to seamlessly weave it into your story, whether visually, metaphorically, through dialogue, or any other inventive means. Let your creativity run wild! Remember, ‘spark’ is meant to inspire, not dictate, the theme of your film.
We’re on the lookout for stories that come straight from the heart, ones that convey a message about life, our world, or transport us to entirely new realms. Stories that spark inspiration, enlighten us, or ignite a desire to challenge and effect change. We believe in the power of film to not just entertain, but to move and inspire, to drive and spark action. This is your chance to share your unique perspective with the world.
In a bid to level the playing field, we’ve revamped our Junior category. It’s now exclusively for school-aged kids, 18 years or under, or those still in high school.
Just a quick recap: Films should be between 2 to 5 minutes in length, shot on any camera or phone, and must incorporate the 2024 signature, ‘spark.’
The deadline for submissions is April 7, 2024.
