The Very Short Film Festival is a national competition that has sprung out of the world we are currently living in.
Since we went into lockdown last year, many people found the time – and the urge – to explore their creativity. Some of them produced short films, which they submitted to the festival’s organiser, Artology.
“What an enormous pleasure it has been watching all the short films submitted for the festival,” said actor and judge Marta Dusseldorp.
“Smart, engaging, thoughtful stories – full of intrigue, heart and connection. Celebrating this complex life and nodding to our beautiful Tasmania.”
The event was held at the Spring Bay Mill, fast becoming the most idiosyncratic performance venue on Tasmania’s east coast. Its calendar of events is always evolving. It is available for weddings, business gatherings, film screenings, and even school camps!
