Listen to ABC Hobart Radio [Monday 9 November 2020, from 2:20:00] Leon Compton interviews Leta Keens our judge, and well respected writer and editor. Leta says, βI think 2020 has made us realise, even more than ever, the importance of all forms of storytelling. As a writer, of course I love the written word, but Iβve been reminded this year just how powerful film can be. Iβm not a film maker by any means, nor are any of my friends and family, but the cameras on our phones have been working overtime making very short films as a way of keeping in touch with each other during lockdown and border closures. Lots of good things have come out of this very strange time weβre all going through, and the Very Short Film Festival is one of them – Iβm thrilled to be involved in it, and am so looking forward to the stories that come out of it.β https://www.abc.net.au/radio/hobart/programs/mornings/mornings/12841740Β
